A Clean Restaurant for A Successful and Healthy Business!

Good day guys! I am so wasted today, I am feeling bad, my body is not in a good shape, I feel like having a flu. I just hope that it is not AH1N1. *Hoping* Well anyways, in an establishment, let's say a restaurant, what part of the establishment do you think should be always clean and tidy. Hmm...Well, of course the cooking area right?

I found this restaurant near our school were they don't mind having dirty cooking area. But they made sure that we, the customers, can't see it. But not me, my eyes maybe easily deceived by love and emotional stuff, but not from dirty kitchen. I had a peek of their cooking area and found that the kitchen sinks where they cut and dice their ingredients has garbage, specifically plastic and straw, all around and touching the processed ingredients.

Well, if you establish a business, especially a dining business such as restaurants, you should make sure that all the area in your establishment should be clean and tidy so that customers will flock to your restaurant. And most importantly, you should clean your establishment for sanitary issues, so that your customers will not get sick in eating your product.

A Rare Case of Conjoined Twins

Good day guys! As I logged in on my YM (Yahoo Messenger) account, I was surprised by the latest news. According to Yahoo News Philippines a baby with two heads was born in Manila. The two-headed baby was born in a family of a tricycle driver, Salvador Arganda, and his wife, Chaterian Arganda, at around 8:45 p.m. according to Yahoo News.

The twins condition is a very rare case of conjoined twins which is called dicephaly monozygotic conjoined twins. The doctors at Fabella Hospital said that they have to determine if the twins has a shared vital organs. If it is the case of shared vital organs, the baby will not survive long enough. But the good thing is that they said that the baby is very reponsive.

I hope the baby will survive. She is a very nice gift from God.

AH1N1 Watch!

Good day guys! How is your day? Mine is not that fine! I am now experiencing illness. I am surfing the net for AH1N1 symptoms and I was surprised that they are just normal symptoms of a flu. AH1N1 is not that fatal if you have a very healthy immune system.

These are the common reported symptoms of AH1N1 [1]

Now In My Last Year!

Good day guys! Being a student is very tiring and very exhausting. Take it from someone who spends his college for about 6 years until now. I know, I know! I am still a student and proud to be one. There are many things I learned from being late. So many things that it opened my eyes to some reality that, for me, is a good thing I learned before entering the world of employment. Now in my last year in college, I want to share something which helped me.

For those students out there, passing the subjects/courses you are into is a matter of determination and time management. If you are that determined to learn and pass the course, then you can do everything, and I do really mean everything, just to pass the course. Well, you know what I mean! ;)

There is also one sure way to pass the course and that is to study and be resourceful and not just read those books that your professor told you to. You can always go to a library, which I find it hard to do in all of my years in education. Also, you can ask everybody's best friend, Google, for references. I also found this site for your Chemistry Lab and Chemistry Test which includes a Chemistry Lecture Note and Chemistry Textbook Answer. It also contains many e-books for interesting topics.

Good day guys! We had our prelims exam on our CSC100 subject. I was so scared of the test because I have not studied that much. I was like very nervous on what the test would look like, if its very hard or just right. But when I got the examination questionnaire, I was so relieved that the questions where not that hard. Suicide! - Not A Solution!

Good day guys! How's your day? Having problems again with our boss? Did you and your girlfriend/boyfriend quarrel again about small things? Are you having trouble keeping your relationship? Is your family your problem? Or are you being scolded by your mother? Or do you think God has forsaken you?

Well, I have this niece of mine. She is a happy girl. Indeed a fighter and when we meet sometimes, she always smile and jokes a lot. She is younger than me, about 18 years old I think. But I can see that behind those smiles and laughter is a girl who needed attention. A lonely girl who is desperately in search for love and care.

She was the second child and the eldest sister. Their family is not what you call a stable one. They are, I think, 13 in the family including the parents. She stopped going to school because of financial problems. Tempted by vices like alcohol. Going home late because of drinking sessions and talks back at her mother and aunt. A typical teenager who has lots of problem.

But a shocking news came me as I went to get my laptop from my mother. She committed suicide just this morning. My mother cried and then it hit me, my niece died! She commit suicide! The night before she committed suicide, she came home late drunk and had a big quarrel with her aunt. And then the next morning, she was found hanging cold inside their bathroom.

That was then that I realize that it doesn't imply that if a person is happy, he/she doesn't have a problem. Actually, we all have problems. Whether small ones or big ones, we are given a fair set of problems by our God. And these problems were given to us so that we can become a better person.

Sometimes, we think that our only solution for all these problems is for us to commit suicide. But remember, only God has the right to take a person's life. The only best solution is for us to ask for God's guidance and to have faith in Him that everything will be alright. And you know what, suicide is a sin in which you have no way of asking for God's forgiveness.

Think also of the people that loves you. By taking your life, you will be making them heart-broken and will be causing them a lot of pain.

So remember this, SUICIDE is not a SOLUTION! God is the solution! God bless us all and keep the faith intact!

WARNING - Text Scams!

Good day guys! I would just like to share something that I received via SMS. The message goes like this,

"Congratulations! Last 07/01/09 Ur cell# had won P700,000+N70 Unit from:PCCNS DTI-# 9170 Series of 2009.call nOW 2 claim ur prize.I'M ATTY.Carlo Diaz"

I knew immediately that it is a scam. But still, I got a bit curious as to who sent me this message and if I really won something so I used my chikka account to send a message to "ATTY.Carlo Diaz." There is no reply so I asked my best friend, google, about this certain ATTY.Carlo Diaz and to this PCCNS DTI-# 9170. Mr. Google confirmed it to be a scam.

I am sharing this experience of mine so that you will know that this type of messages are 100% scam. One thing you should consider if you receive a message like this is if you have subscribed to such promos. I personally, do not subscribe to promos, so why did I win? Second of all, If you officially won something, usually, not only a text message will you receive but a call from a representative and a valid and official number, not a cellphone number.

Living A Contented Life

Good day everyone! Sorry for not posting for 2 days. I was just trying out my new laptop and doing my thesis so that we can finish it. Well, I am back! Hehehe...How are you guys? I hope that you are all fine and having living a contented life.

Well, living a contented life doesn't just mean that you are happy or that all of your wants are up on the grabs. You don't have to be sitting on a glamorous chair, having a mansion or a palace with all those kitchenware, glassware, elegant wine glass racks and beautiful and expensive cars.

A contented life, for me, is a life filled with wonderful memories. Memories of friends and family, both happy and sad ones. Well, you can always go for the material things, but one thing is for sure, if ever it is your time to meet Him, our Creator and Father, all of the material things that you own will not matter. What matters for Him is how well and good have you lived your life. How you acted on simple situations like helping a lady cross the street, making your friends and family happy and most importantly is your faith in Him.

Fire Ants Vs. Normal Ants

Good day guys! How is your day? Mine is a bit tiring because I haven't have a good and sound sleep yet. Well, have you seen fire ants? How do you know if that colony is a fire ants' or just a normal ant colony? I will tell you ways on how to distinguish fire ants from normal ants.

The most noticeable thing about fire ants is their aggressiveness. When they feel that their colony is in danger, they automatically attack. Normal ants just ignore humans and animals and most of the time, just avoids them. But not the fire ants, they attack, biting and stinging. You can test a mound if it is a fire ants' by sticking a stick in the mound. If it is a fire ants' mound, fire ants immediately spring out from the mound and surround the stick.

Their mound are also noticeable because of the size. A fire ant's nest or mound is about at least 1 foot high (protruding from the ground) and having a diameter of at least 1 foot and can reach 2 feet by 2 feet.

There are organic ways to deal with fireants. One way is to get a bowl of boiling water and pour it on the mound. You might want to get away from the mound afterward because they surviving ants will swarm around looking for someone to bite. Another way is to get worm feces as they are claimed to be a good way to combat fire ants.

If you see a mound, the best thing to do is to avoid destroying it and respect their home. They won't attack you unless being provoked.

To tell you honestly guys, I am a person that really likes analysis and problem solving more than memory exams and the likes. Whenever there is a problem to be solved, my mind gets pumped up and I feel so excited to solve the problem. Hehehe...That is one of the things that makes my life more interesting and makes me happy, solving problems.

Anyways, there are many ways to brighten up one's life. You can do sports, play games, or even watch your baby boy/sister do his/her thing and smile. But there is a way to have a happy life in which you can involve your house. And that is remodeling your house! "Why is that?", you ask?

There are many ways that remodeling your house can make you happy. One is to think of ways to remodel your house, where will the furniture go, how to make that annoying old table disappear all the while increasing your artistic skills. If that is not enough, you can demolish a wall and extend your house according to your wants.

Termite - Free? You're Wrong!

Good day guys! I am so happy because I received my laptop. Well, technically it is not mine, but I have the right to use it. Hehehehe...Anyways, I really need laptop for several reasons. One is that it is necessary for my field of work to own a personal workspace for my web development works, as well as designs and other stuff that I am required to do.

Another reason is that having a laptop has advantages that a student can rely on. A student, instead of carrying notebooks and books, can just carry a laptop and save all of the notes and discussions in it. It is a reliable storage for important thesis files, discussion files, thesis files, project files and can also be used to store pictures of those escapades which you and your friends took pictures with.

Carrying hard copies of books, 2-3 books with almost 200 pages each, and notebooks/binders is a pain. It can drain your energy even before you arrive at school. Also, jutting down notes can tire your hands and fingers. For me, typing on a keyboard is much faster and comfortable than handwriting. But what really decided me to stop or minimize using books and notebooks is because of those pesky little termites.

If you think your books and notebooks are safe from damage, think again! Termites can destroy books and even your home without you noticing. When you notice these termites, one thing you can be sure of, there are damages already which are irreversible. A termite can easily destroy any wooden or paper that comes in its way. And termites don't just come in solo but in bunches, or should I rephrase it, in COLONIES! Damn!

I have a personal experience with these termites where almost all of my precious engineering books are destroyed. And there was nothing left to do but to burn all those books. There were almost 10 books destroyed and burnt.

For as long as there are paper-based or wood-based furniture and things in your house, termites can and will probably attack it. That is their living! One way of minimizing termite infestations is through constant cleaning. And cleaning means completely cleaning each object, especially those termite-prone parts of your house every once in a while.

Good day guys! How's your day? Mine is tiring! Done lots of things. I think I will age faster with this kind of routine daily. Hehehe...By the way, Have you read my post about makeups? I don't like makeup that much because it hides one's true beauty. Having your face or your body changed is the same thing for me. Cosmetic Surgery, for me, is not an option. I will discuss here the reasons why I don't like cosmetic surgery.

Not Natural
Some successful surgeries are not successful at all. Having your body reshaped is not natural and can easily be distinguished and can affect the way you do stuff. Having your nose changed affects the way you breathe and feels unnatural. Your face is made that way because that's the best parts that fit your whole self.

Risks
Cosmetic surgeries have come a long way, from simple liposuction to nose lifts, face lifts to breast augmentation, and many more. One of the things that you must consider about having cosmetic surgery is the danger on having these surgeries.

I know that there are cosmetic doctors that train hard and are very good at their job. But still, there is a possibility on having a failed surgery and as a result would lead to damage on the area where you had your surgery. And considering that this is cosmetic surgery, the involved areas are those that are visible to the eyes like your nose, face, breasts, chin, etc. Having these parts damaged affects not just your physicality but also affects the way you face people and would lead to a major breakdown.

Disrespectful
God created you the way you are in His own image. Having your body changed is disrespectful of what He gave to you. Although what He gave for you is not perfect in your eyes, but you are very much perfect in His eyes.

Having cosmetic surgery means that you are not satisfied in what He gave you. It simply means that in your eyes, He is wrong in making that part of you. To tell you guys, He made you like that because He has a purpose for everything. It may seem vague, but it will all be revealed in His time.


Well, these reasons are my reasons why I don't like Cosmetic Surgery. Whatever you decide, always bare in mind that everything God does is backed up with reasons and that include physical appearances. God bless us in everything we do. What Attracts Me the Most!

Good day guys! When you look at a girl, what qualities do you look at first? Do you look at the physical side first before the attitude? Or the other way around? Do you like girls who wear tons of makeup? Or do you prefer girls with just a lip gloss on?

I have this friend who wears a lot of make up. Lipstick, manicure, blush on, eye liner, etc. You name it, she got it. And she even got a makeup kit in her bag complete with a mirror to look at herself. Makeup is not that bad because it can enhance the beauty of a person. But as they say, too much of everything is a no-no. Too much make up not only makes your face look like a mask but it can definitely destroy your skin, well except for organic products.

I like girls better without make up or just a small set of makeup, maybe a lip gloss or blush on. The more natural looking, the better. What attracts me the most is the smile, both eyes and the smile itself. A good smile shows that the person is a happy person, maybe not that happy with her life but you get my point.

They say that most guys are attracted physically before going deeper into the attitude. Well, for me, that's definitely true. I am attracted to girls with a cute and beautiful face, especially with a cute and pretty smile. But don't get the idea that those with a not-so-blessed smile or physical attributes does not have a chance. It does not run that way and all girls have a man destined to fall in love with them.

Everyone is bound to fall in love and to be loved. You may not believe it but it's true. Just have faith in the One preparing your destiny. Believe in Him and you will attain happiness you never thought exists.

Treasures - Gold or Not?!

Good day guys! I am at school right now browsing the net for opportunities that will cater my needs. My mind is blank right now and I need something to lift up my spirits. Well, its mainly because of my lack of sleep. I know that a person should sleep 8 hrs a day. Well, I have my reasons to get up late. Well, talking about my future financial stability, I realized that at my age now, 22 , I am not yet close to what I should be doing. Well, I should be working right now and saving for my future goals and dreams. Damn!

I should be working and saving money for my family, house, etc. Doing jobs that are inclined to Information Technology, creating websites, troubleshooting PCs, installing and maintaining networks. But I am thinking, in this economic instability hitting the globe, what should I do to insure my own financial stability?

There are many ways to do this. One is to buy gold or buy gold bullion. Buying gold is one way to protect your assets and to provide a hedge against inflation. BWAHAHAHA!! Well, it's hard to get a really good score but its not impossible. Here are some tips and tricks on having a good score.

Tip #1 - The Four Basic Elements!


You can get power ups and use it for your needs! These are the four basic elements namely fire, wind, ice (water) and slow (earth). These can be used for those situations where your hand-to-eye coordination betrays you and you have no trick up your sleeve. Just type in these words and you will be rewarded with some game-saving power.

• Fire - can be used to disintegrate those annoying pages in your screen. It is best used for those situations where your screen is filled up with words.
  

• Wind - can be used to blow away those pages that are stacked on your work place. It replenishes your life bar to zero. It is best used when you have no other power ups left or your saving your ice and slow for later levels.

• Ice - can be used to freeze those fast pages in your screen. This is your best friend! It is best used for later levels after all your fire and slow power ups are gone. Ice can save you time since the pages are frozen and not moving. If you are fast enough, you can save 5-10 pages in one ice power up.

• Slow - last but not the least, can be used to slow the speed of the pages. This is your second best friend. It is best used before using the ice power up and after all your fire power ups are gone. Like the ice, use it on later levels or on situations where you can't help but use it.

You get these power ups starting level 3 (I think!). The order of appearance of the power ups is fire, wind, slow, then ice. Four levels after level 3, that is level 7, the appearance of power ups are in random. When you see one, make it your priority to get those power ups. If all types of power ups are on your screen, use this priority, ice -> slow -> wind -> fire.

Tip #2 - Focus!

On earlier levels, you can follow the order of appearance of the words. But on higher levels, where those pages go as fast as the wind, it is better to focus on the words that catch your attention and those that are easier for you to spell.

It is better to pick an area where you can get those words. What I mean area is that an part of the screen where you fix your eyes and where you read those words. For me, I am comfortable on finding those words on the uppermost to middle part of the screen because I have more time on thinking and spelling those words. When the words leave that area and I can't spell it without looking at it, I hit the backspace button and find another word to type.

Tip #3 - Enjoy!

The best thing to do is to enjoy! Don't take it too seriously. That's why it is called a game, to be enjoyed and to relieve stress. Of course you get some but you get my point! Hehehe...Don't get too worked up. If you get a low score then better try your luck next time. If all odds are against you and you can't find other ways to pass by that level, raise your hands up and do your favorite move. Hehehe...The main point of the game is to enjoy and have fun.

I like this game personally because it is fun and you can practice your typing skills. And believe me, if you play this game over and over again, your hand-to-eye coordination will be better and, eventually, you can finish this game and boast with your top score.

Tourist Spots - My Target Locations!

Good day guys! Summer is out but it doesn't mean that you cannot go on a vacation. Anyone can go to a vacation. As for me, I can't go because of academic responsibilities. But when this responsibility is finished, I will go on a vacation for about 6 months or maybe more. I want to enjoy my freedom from the academic life.

There are many destinations that attract me locally.

Boracay - I personally like boracay because of its white sand and the also because of its tourists. You can see lot's of vitamins for your eyes there. The "SIGHT SEEING" is good, if you know what I mean. Hehehe!

Chocolate Hills - One of the tourist attraction that I would really like to visit because of its uniqueness and also because that's one of our pride as Bohol'anons. I am proud to say that I am a Bohol'anon!

Samal City - Also because of the beaches and the mainy tourist attractions that it offers you. I am a beach person.
